Don't Wait

Dress as skirt: thrifted, Shirt: H&M, Jacket: H&M Kids, Heels: Gap (similar), Accessories: thrifted necklace, Karen Walker sunglasses, Belargo, vintage and Jimmy Choo for H&M bracelet, Flektor watch, Zara belt

Do you own anything in your closet that you adore but...you just haven't worn it out yet? That's the kind of relationship I used to have with this thrifted dress. I've owned the dress for a while now but have not found an opportunity to wear it. Turns out, there is no "right time" for me to wear it.  BUT, I do have plenty of "why not" moments to wear it and this is one of them. So for no special occasion at all, I'm wearing my dress with my "I've worn this too many times" stripe shirt and jacket. This look is probably not as classy and refined as this dress may be designed for, but it's just enough funky for me.

Love the mix going on here. I have a couple pieces that I adore but haven't worn yet too... lately I've been working on just wearing what I want to wear no matter the occasion. Love this!

Love the jacket.

There are definately lots of pieces in my closet that I would like to have the chance to wear more often. I just don't seem to get invited to enough red carpet premiers or celebrity cocktail parties. Hmph.

That dress/skirt is amazing! I have quite a few pieces in my closet the I have yet to wear. Sometimes I feel like my life isn't fabulous enough to wear the fabulous looking things that I like to buy haha. Kind of sad...but you're right - there never is a right time, you can look fab whenever :)

Have a great weekend!
